Oh yes! The hops just jumped right up and said hello and I was happy to say hello right back at it. If you're a hophead this one is a must.

Not a session beer!! Big, strong, bold malt flavors and hop bitterness. Less malty than Arrogant Bastard, but just as good! Not as much hop aroma as Double Simcoe.

This may be my favorite beer in the world. It's bitter, hoppy, strong, yet remarkably drinkable. Refreshing enough for summertime, but strong enough for a cold winter night. My hat is off to the good people at Dogfish Head for crafting what (to me) could be the perfect beer.

I usually love IPAs but this was over the top and a bit nasty.

Malty up front, almost like a double bock, but then the solvency of the alcohol kicks in. Nice, balanced beer that pours up well and goes down smooth. If you can catch all the complexity in this beer, you have a very developed palate.

Hopped and dry-hopped so that the bitterness surpasses what your tongue can detect. But fear not! The malts are weighty, and balances it very well. Refreshing and smooth, and representing the East Coast version of the American hopped-up IPA that is the trademark of many a West Coast brewery. My favorite American IPA after Stone Ruination.

Someday, a keg of this. Until then, I'll happily buy a four pack every once in awhile. Smooth beer, nice finish. Good kick. It's a sipper.

This is a good beer, but it's really over the top for an IPA. Heavily hopped but also over-malted.

Simply one of the best beers around. Strong and smooth, it packs a delicious wallop.
