Popped in during a weekend visit. Great atmosphere--variety of sports on a bunch of TVs; friendly folks; knowledgeable and approachable tenders; free pool; etc.

Great selection of Belgians and micros on tap and awesome beer list. Beers from the cellar are a bit cold but that's remedied easily enough. Some 22s are a bit pricey ($18 for a Dreadnaught?!) but after a few pints, you don't mind too much.

The Map Room ranks as one of my favorite bars of all time. Great beers on tap. Great belgians in bottles. The bartenders are friendly. They bring in food for international night. It is so close to my house I feel like it is my living room.

The only downside is while it isn't usually all that smokey inside you do come out smelling like an ashtray.

I absolutely love this place. Free wi-fi and a couple hundred beers available. Oh, and well, it doesn't hurt that it's right by my house.

This place is top of the line. Great beer on tap and great knowledgeable crew working there. The variety is boundless and the atmosphere is decent for a beer connoisseur place. They usually have a cask or two available at all times and what they pour regularly blew my mind. St. Bernardus abt 12 on tap!! An absolute must to visit if you are in town.
